Some people are meant to meet
And some meant to have chemistry
Of these a bond can form rapidly
And some end up in love
Thinking, “This is destiny”

It’s a funny thing
Just think
Of seven billion
And a city population of millions
Two entities are bound
Each other meant to be found
by the other
To hold on to forever

I’m often puzzled by probabilities
Of two strangers close in proximity
But the ability
to love someone from a distance
In an instant
The author of “Three Cups of Tea”, for instance

But not all are happy endings
As so you’ll learn from life’s findings

At times the two to be never meet
Time and distance put them in defeat
One loves the other
but gets a broken heart by fate
Or something goes wrong
And they wait
‘Til too late
